A cookie is a small piece of data, often including a unique identifier, that is sent to the web browser of your computer, tablet or mobile phone (hereinafter collectively referred to as a “device”) from a website’s computer and then stored on your own device’s hard drive. Each website can send its own cookies to your web browser if your browser preferences allow it.

Many websites operate in this manner when a visitor visits their website, in order to track the flow of online traffic. Similar technologies are often used within emails in order to understand whether the email has been read or whether the user has clicked on links contained in the email.

However, you can change your cookie settings in your web browser at any time (for more information, see our full cookie policy).
