- Syrah - France, Languedoc, Fitou

Zweigelt - Austria, Burgenland
Syrah is used to shaping rosé wines with a Mediterranean accent, but is rarely associated with Zweigelt. At Gudule, we like a challenge, so we found the former in Fitou, in the Languedoc region, and the latter in Austria to compose this surprising blend. Between the fruitiness and roundness of one, and the suppleness and liveliness of the other, it's impossible not to fall in love!
Because we focus on freshness, we start with direct pressing. The two juices are then blended and left to ferment. Vinification and ageing take place in stainless steel vats to preserve the purity of the fruit. We finish with a light filtration for the 3564 bottles produced.
Taste
Behind its pale color lies an intense nose full of red berries, with a hint of spice that smacks of summer. This light, charming rosé reveals tannins that structure the whole but remain discreet. Exuberant and juicy, with plenty of freshness.
Drink within two years, on its own as an aperitif or with a picnic in the park. After all, this cuvée goes well with simple, convivial dishes such as charcuterie and vegetable tarts, to be shared without moderation.
